Pipe repair and repiping for existing homes in Peoria

The piping in your home supplies the fixtures you use every day. Leaks, corrosion and changes in water flow can interrupt that use and raise questions about the condition of the system. Trident Plumbing & Drain provides targeted pipe repairs, replacement piping and whole-home repiping in Peoria and the Greater Phoenix area.

A leak does not automatically mean every pipe needs to be replaced. The location of the fault, the condition of the surrounding piping and the history of previous repairs all matter. We inspect the system and explain what supports a smaller repair or a more extensive replacement.

Know what to report

Signs your piping needs an inspection

Tell our team about pressure changes, repeated leaks or water that looks different than usual. These symptoms deserve investigation, but they do not establish that repiping is needed on their own. The inspection helps determine whether the issue comes from a particular section or a wider problem.

It is useful to share when the change began and which fixtures are affected. If repairs have already been made, explain where and whether the same problem returned. That history gives the plumber more context for assessing the condition of the remaining piping.

  • Leaks that keep developing or returning.
  • A noticeable change in flow or water pressure.
  • Rust particles or unexplained discoloration.
  • Unexpected water use or a higher bill.

Compare the scope

When a repair may be enough, and when to look further

A targeted repair can address a specific damaged section when the rest of the piping remains serviceable. More extensive corrosion, aging lines or a pattern of repeated leaks may make a larger repiping project worth considering. The recommendation should follow the evidence found at the property.

We explain the area needing attention and the reason for the proposed work. Ask which parts of the system are affected, what each option addresses and what would remain in place. Those details help you make a decision about the scope of the project.

Plan an update

Piping for kitchen, bathroom and fixture projects

Remodeling a kitchen or bathroom can involve changes to the plumbing behind the fixtures. Replacing outdated lines or updating fixture connections requires planning around the existing layout. Tell us what you want to change and what problems, if any, you have noticed with the current system.

Our team helps with piping for existing-home remodels, fixture and appliance plumbing upgrades, water line replacement and whole-home repiping. We can review the work alongside the rest of the plumbing so that the proposed changes fit the project.

Understand the work

Discuss access, materials and the repair plan

Every home has a different piping layout and access conditions. Once the problem has been assessed, discuss the areas involved, the proposed material and the work needed to reach or replace the line. The plan should be specific to the system rather than based only on its age.

We focus on explaining the options and the intended repair before work begins. If the problem involves the supply line at the property or a suspected leak beneath the slab, we can help direct the inspection to that concern. These services have different access and repair considerations.

We had one of those Saturdays that started out great until water starting coming out of one of our ceiling lights… she sent Quintin who got right on the problem and had us all fixed up in no time.

Ask our team
Do recurring leaks mean I need whole-home repiping?

Not always. Recurring leaks are a reason to inspect the condition of the piping and review previous repairs. A targeted repair may be appropriate, while extensive wear or repeated failures can support considering a larger replacement.

Can you help with piping during a kitchen or bathroom remodel?

Yes. We provide piping work for existing-home kitchen and bathroom updates, fixture changes and replacement of worn lines. Share the planned layout and any existing plumbing concerns so our team can discuss the work involved.

Is low water pressure proof that my pipes need replacement?

No. A change in pressure is a symptom to investigate. We inspect the plumbing and consider the affected fixtures and other findings before recommending pipe repair or repiping.

Can high water pressure damage my pipes?

Yes. The City of Phoenix Water Services Department's guidance on household water leaks says water pressure greater than 80 psi can damage pipes and appliances and requires action by the home or business owner. For that reason, the city requires a pressure regulator on the customer's side of the meter to keep pressure in the home from going above that level, and the regulator is the homeowner's to maintain. If you are dealing with repeated leaks, have the pressure tested before deciding on pipe repair or repiping, because new pipe will face the same pressure. Trident Plumbing & Drain can test your water pressure and check the regulator.
